Hello everybody! 

This afternoon at 14.00 me and Søren Bebe played at the Metronomen for the Vinterjazz festival in Copenhagen 
It was a great concert with a lot of audience that came to hear the music!

The program was composed by some tunes of mine (Seven Days, Inside the blue and L’astronauta), some from Søren (Before and Tanto for T) and some standards tune like How deep is the ocean and Armando’s Rumba
At the end of the concert people came to us and I met Can and Dennis, a young guitar player that asked us the autographs. Of course we kept a picture all together (from the left: me, Can, Dennis and Søren)

I like a lot when at the end of the concert I have the possibility to talk with the people came for us, I think this is one of the sense of the music. 

A special thanks to Søren for sharing with me the stage and for the amazing playing! Something special happens, as a women at the end of our set said: “You two touched my heart”!

Come molti di voi sapranno la giornata del 4 settembre è stata dedicata all’iniziativa di musica e solidarietà “Il jazz italiano per Amatrice”. E’ stato un grande evento per il quale tantissime piazze italiane si sono mobilitate per organizzare concerti e raccogliere fondi per la ricostruzione del Teatro “Giuseppe Garibaldi” di Amatrice, più di venti città e luoghi italiani hanno partecipato insieme all’evento principale di Collemaggio (come originariamente previsto ne “Il Jazz Italiano per L’Aquila”). Il mio concerto si è svolto a 3460mt a Courmayeur - Punta Helbronner, sul Monte Bianco, postazione più a nord del cartellone della giornata (Lampedusa è stata invece la postazione più a sud con il concerto dell’amico Pasquale Innarella): suggestivo e inconsueto per chi si è trovato sulla terrazza della Skyway Funivia Monte Bianco, è stata l’occasione per riflettere sulla maestosità della natura ma anche di come la cultura ci circonda ogni giorno e come ne può far parte in ogni momento. La vita non può prescindere dalla cultura che è senz’altro motore di ricostruzione umana, spirituale ed anche materiale. Il Jazz italiano si è riunito quindi per ricostruire il Cinema Teatro “Giuseppe Garibaldi” di Amatrice, punto di riferimento per la cultura e la comunità.

E’ stato realizzato il documentario "Il Jazz per Ricostruire” andato in onda su Rai 5.

Più di 700 musicisti hanno infine partecipato ai più di 110 concerti per oltre 20 palchi in tutta Italia. 

“Il jazz italiano per Amatrice” è stato realizzato da Associazione I-Jazz, unitamente a MIDJ Musicisti italiani di Jazz  e Casa del Jazz, promosso da Mibact - Ministero per i beni e le attività Culturali e del Turismo e dal Comune dell’Aquila – in occasione di Perdonanza Celestiniana 2016, main sponsor: SIAE e media partners: Rai 5, Rai Cultura, Rai Radio 3, Rai Radio 7 live, Rai Isoradio.

This week I am in Finland, an amazing place with a lot of nature and good vibrations!
I will play with Andrea Marcelli (with whom I recorded the New CD that's going to be published soon... stay tuned!) and Karri Luhtala.
This week's concerts are supported by the Institute of Italian Culture in Finland and Roero Music Fest, where we will play this summer after this tour.
